New Reasons to visit Tacloban City after Typhoon Yolanda

Fresh Tacloban City, its rehabilitation and facelift: Come and visit!

After the devastation brought about by the Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), Tacloban City is now in its recovery and rehabilitation stage.  Thousands of people have helped together to rebuild the city capital of Leyte. Many people are wondering how is Tacloban City now?

Going around Tacloban City is now safer than ever.  There are establishments that are open 24 hours.  Night walkers and early morning people jogging around the city are evident.  Disco bars, night clubs and the like are now operational.  Hotels and restaurants are flourishing.  Lights around the city are welcoming visitors and organic residents.  Well I would say the city is alive again.

Much to the surprise of other people, they thought that Tacloban City was  a place to be dispersed, but in truth it is a place where the unity and strong faith of the people overshadows calamities, disasters and phenomenons.  The place and its people are tested by time.  Nothing can ever try to disorient or castigate morally, physically, spiritually and mentally the people and the culture.  I could only feel sorry for those who are saying negative things about Tacloban City as a whole.  Well, they need to be oriented with what the place and the people can offer.

Let us take a look at some landmarks of Tacloban City damaged by typhoon yolanda and its rehabilitation and facelift.
